Padrauna विधानसभा निवडणूक निकाल 2022

Padrauna is one of the Assembly seats of the Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh and also part of the Kushinagar Lok Sabha constituency. The sitting Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Padrauna, Swami Prasad Maurya, who was also a minister in the Yogi government, switched to the Samajwadi Party just ahead of polls. The entry of Congress leader RPN Singh into the BJP has created a lot of buzz in this constituency. However, Maurya has been shifted to the Fazilnagar constituency now. It must be noted that BJP leader Vijay Kumar Dubey is the sitting MP from the Kushinagar Lok Sabha seat. The Padrauna Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for SCs or STs. The voting is scheduled in the sixth phase i.e. on March 3, 2022.
